Elevated Becomes Proud Member of The Conservation Alliance

Updated: Nov 9, 2021

The Conservation Alliance is a coalition of 250 like-minded businesses who pool resources to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places. Since 1989, the Alliance has helped to protect 73 million acres of wildlands and 3,575 river miles, removed or halted 36 dams, purchased 17 climbing areas, and designated five marine reserves. To date, they’ve awarded more than $24,000,000 in grants to 211 organizations and they’re just getting started.

Elevated Independent Energy made joining the Conservation Alliance a priority this year because of our love for the outdoors, the direct impact energy usage has on our outdoor recreation/protected wildlife spaces, and the alignment of our company's missions. Elevated's mission is to empower home and business owners to gain energy independence by making distributed renewable energy the standard of energy production and consumption in the great state of Colorado. This in turn leads to a reduction in carbon emissions by doing our part to clean up our planet at home, and furthering TCA's mission of protecting and advocating for the wildlands outside of these inhabited spaces.

As a very important part of joining TCA, we will have the opportunity to nominate two Colorado projects, and cast one ballot for each bi-annual grant funding cycle. This means we will have a direct hand in helping our community allies have their wildland protection and advocacy work be realized in a tangible way. If you are involved with, or know of, any Colorado protection or advocacy group that would be a great candidate for grant funding, please contact us and we will see how we can help.

We're all in this together, and together, we stand stronger. #standwithrenewables
